2006

The "Taste of Ebony" at the Metropolitan Pavillion in New York was an historic occasion gathering dozens of Black American Culinary legends under one well-appointed roof for a celebration.
Marcus Samuelsson, (Chairperson/Culinary Advisor), kneeling; Leah Chase (Dooky Chase, New Orleans), seated. Richard Grausman, seated, holding a tribute award. Grausman, founder and president of the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), and Mrs. Chase were honored for lifetime achievements.
